Leeann Tweeden was born June 13, 1973, in Manassas, Virginia. After graduating from high school she moved to Colorado Springs to start a modeling career but landed a job at Hooters instead. In 1992 she won the Venus International Model search contest and headed to LA. She then posed for Frederick's of Hollywood and became the host of the Venus Model Search for the next several years. This led to her first magazine cover, a publication named Swimwear USA. In the meantime, Tweeden maintained her relationship with Hooters and appeared in a handful of their calendars.
In 1994 she made her debut as a Playboy cover girl and has also appeared in its Book of Lingerie. In 1997 she mixed it up a bit and modeled for the lead character in the comic book Coven 13. She also continued to work with Playboy and Frederick's of Hollywood.
Tweeden has also had a taste of television. She has appeared on EdenQuest, Star Search, The Vicki Lawrence Show, Entertainment Tonight, Fitness Beach and Jerry Springer. An avid dirt bike rider, Tweeden announces motocross events for Pace Motorsports twice a year. She also has her own column for the motorcycle newspaper Racer X Illustrated and hosts Bluetorch, a program that showcases extreme sports.
